A vacancy exists at Nampak Inspection & Coding Solutions for a Service Engineer. The position is based 2x in Meadowdale and 1x in Nelspruit and will report to the Service Manager. This position is graded Peromnes 09.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Provide service support
- Provide product training
- Provide demonstration of new equipment
- Provide after-hours support
- Do standby
- Manage delegated customer equipment service intervals
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance
- Perform on demand service response
- Repair / fix the equipment / Machines
- Installation of equipment/ Machines
The ideal candidate should meet the following requirements:
- An Electrical / Mechanical National Diploma – (Preferably Electrical)
- At least 3 years in a similar position
- Be computer literate, MS Office
- Have logical approach to problem solving
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- Must have a driver’s license
- Excellent report writing skills
- Confident and mature in conflict management and problem solving
- Have sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure
- Have valid Passport
- Good communication skills, analytical and team player
