Why use a recirculating fume extractor?
When it comes to extraction systems, there are two types available:
- External
Contaminated air gets pumped into the environment
- Internal
Filtration of air takes place inside the extraction or LEV (local exhaust ventilation) system.
LEV systems, such as a Purex, are seen as the better option.
External venting systems pump fumes and dust to the outside, polluting and harming the environment. The alternative is a Purex Recirculating Filter System which captures hazardous dust and fumes in filters and returns purified air to the workplace.
